WETZ Turbocharger. We have tried to think of everything in the smallest detail. The rotor and impeller of the WETZ turbocharger are made of an alloy with a high nickel and chromium content, thus achieving a heat resistance of over 1000C°. The housing is made of heat-resistant cast iron with nickel for efficient operation in the high temperature range.
Each WETZ turbocharger undergoes two stages of high-speed balancing on Schenck® equipment that tests the cartridge at speeds up to 200,000 rpm to reduce rotor imbalance to near-zero.
The WETZ turbocharger is a very finely tuned unit during the manufacturing process, and we make every effort to ensure it arrives to you in pristine condition. The original WETZ packaging and careful transport from the factory virtually eliminates any damage, however, we do ask that you make an additional inspection for any defects that may occur during transport by third party carriers.
